Scenario:
- 2009 AOI Machine
- Japan Manufacturer
- 5 years experience in AOI manufacturing
- Availability of principal support
- Experienced engineers
How could this still happen with this condition applied?
Analysis as follows could explain the scenario abovementioned:
(1) Insufficiency of inspection and assurance on defectives.
(2) Lack of quality affirmation on defectives.
(3) Lack of meticulousness in product assurance.
(4) Setting "lifted" is not applicable to raise pass rates.
(5) Stagnancy during staff turnover.
(6) Quick and rough measurement without thorough reforms.
(7) Disregard advanced training provided by manufacturer.
(8) Wastage in utlization of analyzable tools for purspose of higher
detections.
(9) Lack of workmanship with professional sceptism.
(10) Lack of alerts to Management when repeated problems are unable
to resolve.
(11) Lack of knowledge in AOI.
Reasons abovementioned shall be shared among users and AOI
manufacturers.
AOI manufacturers and related engineers are more familiar with the
setup of AOI though.
However, knowledge in PCBA-QA, especially applicable on types of
defectiveness, outbreak frequency, demanded quality level, etc. are
required in order to produce high and quality performance.
